A few friends and I went here for dinner on Halloween night. We dressed up in appropriate costumes lol and arrived at 8:30pm. The waiter staff were pretty friendly. It was a very dim light somewhat romantic feeling restaurant. Def good date night restaurant. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana and my friends ordered the spicy Grimaldi pasta (I think that's what it's called- made w spicy vodka sauce). The food came out at a decent timing and was pretty good but wish the portion was a bit bigger. As a vegetarian my only options were that or the spicy pasta which I was not feeling. I did try my friends pasta and it was pretty good very creamy tomato spicy sauce is the best way I can explain it. Overall our dinner was pretty good- I loved the ambiance of the place mainly. I might go back and try the other pasta but the waiter did mention the menu is seasonal so changes every now and then. Good date night Italian place in the galleria! Also perk - has good parking.

The starters were tasty- a little overdressed and greasy for my own taste. My favorite dish is the chicken piccata, so tender. The pastas are a must try: the spinach tortellini is unique.

I am visiting Houston and was looking for a tasty Italian restaurant. After reading a half dozen reviews, I chose Il Bracco, and I'm very happy that I did. I was greeted by the kind host team and requested to sit at the bar. The bartenders were very attentive and worked well together to make sure that I had everything I wanted. They offered several suggestions upon my request and were very helpful. I chose the Bolognese, polenta and add on a couple of focaccia breadsticks. The Bolognese was terrific offering a very unique and complex set of flavors that made my heart happy. The polenta left a little bit to be desired, but I also know that I'm very particular, but I like my polenta. Ask for the focaccia, one of my favorites. I wish it would've been a little bit warmer, but I also understand that focaccia is served at different temperatures based on the restaurant. Ambience the restaurant was terrific. Dim lighting great for a date night or some that is just in town looking for a quick bite to eat. Overall, if you're in the area, highly recommend.

The server was very attentive and friendly. The focaccia was crispy and addictive. The fried artichokes were also crispy and very craveable. The Al Limone pasta was cooked perfectly, and the shrimp (not overcooked) was also cooked well. It was topped with breadcrumbs which gave it an excellent texture. The Spicy Gemelli pasta was perfectly al dente and so simple, yet so delicious. The fried chicken sandwich was straightforward but very tasty. Tiramisu was creamy and had a strong espresso taste which I felt like balanced the dessert very well. The Budino was creamy and decadent and was topped with delicious candied pistachios. Perfect ending to an excellent meal. My Diagnosis: dine here and dine here often. It's quite delightful!

My wife and I flew into Houston and I wanted some sea bass. Having seen this restaurant on Yelp, I wanted to try it but was doubtful of my chances to get a table in a Saturday night with short notice. I gave them a call, and was surprised to hear that they would hold me a table for about half an hour. All told, we arrived on time, got a great table, and experienced some of the most exceptional service that I have ever had. Supremely attentive, pleasant servers ensured I was never out of a beverage, gave excellent recommendations, and made our first hours in Houston a true pleasure. Further, I was very surprised we were able to get a table at all considering how busy the restaurant was. The restaurant is a wonderful place for an intimate dinner, with dark lighting and plenty of privacy between seating areas. Food-wise, I was able to get sea bass, which was prepared excellently and had some delicious flavors. My wife enjoyed a flavorful noodle dish (I can't remember the exact name). All in all, this fit the bill exactly.

Il Braco is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, the ambiance is warm and inviting, setting the perfect mood for a great meal. The service is impeccable--attentive without being intrusive. The menu features a delightful range of dishes, but the standout for me was the homemade pasta; it was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The wine selection is also fantastic, perfectly complementing the food. The drinks are also amazing!

Food was great. All pasta made in house. Service was adequate. Did not go out of her way. Spicy gemelli is unique and worthwhile. Meatballs were awesome. Lemon shrimp was also excellent

This was a really good dining experience. I honestly have no complaints. There's a parking lot with plenty of free parking; no valet. I made a reservation, so I was seated immediately. The service was great and the waiter was helpful in determining what to order. The food tasted fresh and flavorful. Good portion size and reasonable pricing. Wine choices were also great. This place is cute enough for date night, but also gives a great girls-night vibe.

Last night my husband and I had the pleasure of going to Il Bracco. We were promptly sat at our reservation time. They were super nice from the time of taking out drinks. I was just in the mood for water since I knew I'd be eating a lot and that was never empty. The darkly lit room was fairly romantic where you basically only noticed those you were with. My husband and I started with the fried artichokes along with burrata salad. Both were great alone but their condiments were great. I'm not much of a condiment person but wow. We then moved forward to pasta since who's going to turn down house made pasta? I had the Al Limone which was a lemon salad. It was delicious. I cleaned my plate. My husband had the bolognese and that isn't as much style but awesome too. His noodles were great. Overall we were both extremely happy. I felt it was the perfect amount. He felt super full but I think that was the Italian lager. :)
